Welcome to Merge Medical’s Substack. Merge Medical is a nonprofit organized to support physicians and healthcare professionals through community, education, and financial opportunities. We advocate for the doctor-patient relationship, involvement within the business of medicine, independent medical practice and physician autonomy.
Although we are only 18 months old, we are just getting started. We have a supportive and growing list of co-creators, many of whom contribute content to our newsletter and involve themselves in various ways.

We have completed 37 podcasts and met countless founders/CEOs trying to make a difference. Our forum members have invested in a small subset of these companies.
Our move to Substack simply makes sense due to the strong community and toolset.

If investment opportunities within compelling healthcare startups and growth-stage companies are of interest, please join our Forum, answer the Opt-in questions, and review the detailed FAQ. We ask for your NPI to control entry to the forum and integrity of the membership. Regarding investment opportunities, we will only communicate with the subset of forum members who have opted in.
In the end, Merge Medical serves as a master connector for the benefit of the members and the ecosystem. We have introduced founders to one another, which has led to meaningful business collaborations. Merge Medical, both the members and the entity, are not broker-dealers, registered investment advisors (RIA), or offering investment advice.
