We had a fantastic session with IDRelate COO Kevin Jones and CEO Blayne Lequeux.
Mr. Lequeux has been in the healthcare data business for more than four decades. He sequentially built and sold two very successful PPOs during the transformative and early years of medical network building. His last PPO business was sold in 2008. Starting in 2011, he spent 6 years developing data analytics and reporting technology incorporating 100M lives and more than 10B prescription claims for Express Scripts, now owned by Cigna.
Mr. Lequeux states that he “has failed at retirement five times”. His business ventures have focused on healthcare administration, claims processing, provider networks and analytics for insurers, health systems, provider networks and large employers to solve a myriad of data-related problems.
The more that we have learned about Mr. Lequeux, it seems appropriate to call him Mr. “Big Data”. The statement “been there…done that” is an gross understatement regarding Mr. Lequeux’s prior successes and the value of this experience, leadership and intellectual property rolled into IDRelate.
While IDRelate is a startup, it is built upon decades of technical success and industry connections and was recently granted a broad patent incorporating vector database technology and AI to uniquely identify people, organizations, healthcare providers, locations and relationships. According to research conducted by Allied Market Research in 2019,
the North American market value for big data analytics in health care is projected to reach $34.16 billion by 2025.
With over 200 billion vector database related data points, IDRelate may have one of the single most extensive data sets in existence while also having the tools to perform time-efficient queries, analyses, reporting and create actionable results, graphical representations and predictive models.
IDRelate is utilizing this data in a positive way to help protect individuals from NPI database fraud and other forms of fraud and abuse. They will also enable individuals and entities to make decisions and perform business activities using correct data. This is accomplished by providing the customer with a cost-effective and time-efficient method to correct numerous database errors, inconsistencies or gaps.
This functionality and commercial offering is largely absent in the big data space today.
